As I have been doing all of this research a name keeps popping up, Cash Crate. I added it to the list of things I was going to look into, but it soon found its way to the top.
Now as far as the dollar amount of the payouts and the type of offers and surveys they had, they were pretty much on par with everyone else. What made them really stand out in my mind is how up front they were in their descriptions of what was going to be required (credit card, subscription, etc). There is nothing worse than spending fifteen or twenty minutes on something only to find out you have just wasted all that time. Cash Crate also has a pretty decent filtering system for the type of offer you are interested in. I found this site to have more legitimate offers than anyone else by far. This site could keep a person busy for weeks.

Three words…..Don't do it! This was a complete and utter waste of time. The money you could theoretically earn from this would be great, the only problem is you would have to spend more than you would make. They have multiple entries listed under "studies", "surveys", and "drawings". You have to get all the way to the confirmation page before you are halfway eligible to be paid, but you have to buy something to get there. Should you actually make it through, you have to do a survey on the survey that ninety nine times out of one hundred has magically disappeared. Oops, guess you don't get paid for that one. Another big problem I saw was that you had to have $50.00 to cash out (and they only pay in $50 increments), then it takes 30 days to get to you. I could rant and rave for hours about these guys, but I don't want to waste anymore time. Do yourself a favor and put it on your restricted list.

Fusion Cash

So here is the deal with Fusion Cash, companies pay Fusion cash to either find people to take their surveys or people who are currently in the market for a product or service they provide. This is not something that can take the place of your current employment or feed your family. Can you make a little money though? The answer is Yes. I spent approximately six hours over the course of four days completing their tasks. I made $33.86, not including the $5.00 bonus they give you to sign up. You can make an extra $3.00 a month by posting a minimum of 30 times to their forum and there is a referral bonus that is pretty good.  When a friend signs up through your refferal link and confirms their email address, you make a $1. When that friend completes their first survey, you make $2.00. (This one is my favorite part) Every time that friend cashes out, you make $5.00. There are a few other (less honest) ways to cheat the system and make some money, but if you want to do that you have to figure it out on your own.

With anything there are always some downsides, here are the ones that I have discovered:

Now I had already tried several other things before I had run across this. I had saw a lot of posts on this, and although it wasn’t going to make you rich, it was a good way to make a little extra cash.
My initial thoughts were that “Amazon is a very reputable company, I have bought several things from them, this could be a realistic, legit online opportunity”.

Let me start by explaining a little about what Mechanical Turk is and does. Businesses or individuals will post what is called a “HIT”. This is some sort of task they need done ranging from writing an article, proofreading, signing up for a website, taking a survey, and so on and so on. They will assign a set amount of money to be paid for each HIT done correctly. Then you have the workers who choose to take on these tasks by accepting the HIT. Amazon keeps track of what HITs you accepted, who they were from, how much they are worth, and if you are going to get paid for them or not. Here is my experience with Mechanical Turk.
