A little bit about me

Like many folks these days I find my pocketbook is a lot lighter, everything has gone up except my paycheck.

I am in my early 30’s, middle-class, with a husband and two kids. In years past we have been able to make all of our bills, put money into savings and have had plenty of fun to spare. Over the last two years both my husbands and my hours have decreased at work and our savings, stocks, and 401k is bone dry. As I sat here one night, on the verge of tears, debating between paying the electric bill or signing my son up for Little League, I decided I have had enough. I can’t wait anymore for the economy to turn itself around and I had to take action now.

I applied for several part-time jobs but nothing ever really seemed to work out, so I turned to the web. Now I am not a fool, I realize that most of the so called “money making opportunities” are scams, but I thought if I did some research maybe I could make a few bucks. I decided to start a blog detailing the different things I have tried to make or save money and how well they have worked.

I hope as you read this, my experiences can be helpful in one way or another. I would invite you to send me ideas, comments or suggestions. Please realize that all of these posts are strictly my opinion based upon my own findings.
